Domain name is the unique web adress. It is the adress name after www and before com.
Just for an example
www.urekach.blogspot.com is a website. here blogspot is the domain name. urekach is the subdomain of blogspot.
Subdomain
Subdomain is a unique web adress prvided by any domain. www.urekach.blogspot.com Here Blogspot is a domain that provides another subdomain under it is urekach. Hence www.urekach.blogspot.com is a website using urekach subdomain and blogspot domain.
